About this offering

Property details

Listed below recent appraised value, this character-filled bungalow is tucked back from the road with mature oaks and a paved driveway leading up to a wraparound covered porch. Cobalt blue columns give this one real curb presence, and the covered porch wraps two full sides of the house with plenty of room for rocking chairs on a summer evening. Inside, original hardwood-style flooring and high ceilings carry through most of the main living areas. The front living room centers on a whitewashed brick fireplace. Just off it, a second gathering room offers its own brick fireplace with a mantel, good space for a den, playroom, or home office. The kitchen keeps its retro charm with painted cabinetry, a cooktop peninsula that opens to the dining area, and room for a full table under the pendant light. Bedrooms are generously sized, several with double closets and original wood doors and trim still in place. The bathroom carries the same vintage character as the rest of the home, with a colorful vanity sink and playful tile work. Out back, a thick bamboo privacy screen runs along the rear property line for a quiet, private feel that's hard to find this close to town. A storage shed with electric, a graveled fire pit area, and open lawn round out the backyard, plus a paved parking pad off the side entrance for extra off-street parking beyond the driveway and covered porch. This one has good bones, and a layout that's easy to make your own. Schedule a showing to see it in person.
